ABOUT ME

WHO AM I?

I am a UX researcher and designer with 7 years of experience working to create world-leading SaaS products.
I’ve contributed to top industry leaders such as CGI (global wealth) and CrowdStrike (cybersecurity).

I am also a designer, traveller, and animal lover.
I've travelled to over 22 countries and lived in South Korea and Taiwan for 3 years.
Travelling has provided me with a new perspective on the world and the people in it.

MY JOURNEY

I began my UX design journey about eight years ago, when I met a woman who had just finished the General Assembly course in San Fransisco, and loved it.  From there on, the idea of a career in design intrigued me.

Soon after, I left Canada to live abroad but always felt that Toronto was my home and that returning was inevitable.

In preparation for my return, I did a lot of research into the field of UX design. Although I knew that making a career transition would be a big challenge, I felt that UX provided me with the perfect opportunity to pursue my interests in psychology and human interaction in combination with my desire to be creative.

Shortly after returning, I began the intensive bootcamp at Bitmaker. The course was definitely a challenge but I came out of it with a strong grasp of UI and UX design.
Since then, I have grown leaps and bounds in UX design and research, having gained years of experience in designing and testing websites, web apps, SaaS products, iOS and Android apps.
